Zambia Disability Mentorship Association

Zambia Disability Mentorship Association was established on 15th June 2017 to provide peer support for persons with physical disabilities, parents, guardians with such individuals by forming a network of emotional support and motivation.

Peer support among people with disabilities in Africa is not common, most people go through life feeling alone and burdened. This has resulted in levels of depression and early deaths.

ZDMA aims to provide peer support and ensure that people don’t feel alone by giving them a voice among their peers.

The founder is Jacqueline Tembo.
