Here IC2A have collected some inspirational stories from amputees. Their stories provide some insight into how these individual people overcame the hurdles they faced in their lives and their feelings towards these hurdles. We hope that these stories provide inspiration.

The IC2A Inspirational Medal
The IC2A Inspirational Medal is awarded every second year to the person nominated to give the IC2A Inspirational Lecture on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the World Congress of the International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics.
