Created on April 07, 2019, Inclusion des Personnes Amputées et Déficientes Motrices de Côte d’Ivoire (IPADEMCI) is a disabled persons organization (DPO) working for the promotion and defence of the rights of persons with reduced mobility, in general and amputees, in particular to contribute to their social inclusion. To this end, IPADEMCI undertakes and is involved in the implementation of several projects for the social inclusion of its beneficiaries.
Objectives:
To promote and defend the rights of amputees and limb deficient persons;
Facilitate the improvement of mobility, accessibility and inclusion of amputees and limb deficient persons;
Develop the personality and leadership of the amputees and limb deficient persons;
Strengthen the civic and citizenship participation of amputees and limb deficient persons;
Promote new assistive technologies to facilitate the social inclusion of amputees and limb deficient persons.
Current projects
The project of physical accessibility audit of the Registry Office buildings in 20 localities of Côte d’Ivoire;
The project of assistance to the schooling and the training of the young disabled girls of Côte d’Ivoire;
The “Kadidjatou project” to fight the violence against the disabled persons in Côte d’Ivoire;
Peer support project.
