Meet the IC2A team
The IC2A Team:
IC2A depends on a team of volunteers from the global IC2A member associations to achieve our goals. At times, when we have an event or initiative that we need more help with, we co-opt more volunteers with different experiences and expertise.
The IC2A Board is comprised of at least 3 people elected for two years at the time by our country member amputee associations. For the period 2023-2025 this is made up of
Dr Nils-Odd Tønnevold, Norway (President),
Dieter Jüptner, Germany (Vice-President),
Vincent Bohouo, Ivory Coast (Secretary),
Isabelle Guerrero, France and Christoffer Lindhe, Sweden.
IC2A Projects
IC2A often bids for projects to support the key values of IC2A and support the recognition and access for services for all amputees. IC2A engages a project officer for these bids and to work on the projects should they be successful. This position is held by Beth Sheehan who is an international consultant and exercise physiologist. To find out more about Beth go to her website.
The current project IC2A is engaged in is the OneHand project. Beth is facilitating the project’s development of guidelines for the upper limb rehabilitation process from amputation through to community integration, ensuring that the service user voice is at the centre of the project and its subsequent outcomes.
